Why I Still RV After 135 Defects
You'd think after 135 defects on one rig and a flood on the next, I'd quit. Sell it. Move on. Here's why I haven't.
Eight years ago, my wife and I sold the house and bought a Winnebago. Lived in it for two years. The freedom we found in those years is the reason we're still in this lifestyle. Even with a defective rig.
The RV industry didn't earn that. The lifestyle did. The morning light through a window in a place you've never been. Cooking outside. Hearing your kid laugh at a bird they've never seen. That's free. That part still works.
The watchdog work isn't because I hate RVing. It's because I love it. I want better for the people coming in behind me. Not paid by manufacturers. Not selling rigs. Just talking.
Next week we go after Thor Industries. Get a coffee. We're just getting started.
