Pre-purchase consulting

Don't sign anything until we talk.

One 30-minute call before you sign on an RV could save you tens of thousands of dollars and a year of warranty fights. We've owned the lemons. We know the patterns.

What you get on the call

Our goal is for you to walk away from the call either confident in the purchase, or relieved you didn't make it.

The Survival Kit is the fillable, printable version of the whole framework: the 10 questions, an 80+ point walk-through, brand-research and tow/weight worksheets, an out-the-door price & negotiation sheet, a defect log, a warranty escalation tree, and a tear-out field card — plus the scripts and worksheets we don't publish. Built to carry to the dealer and use through your first year. Instant PDF download, delivered through our shop. Start with the free guide →

What this is not

We are not certified RV inspectors. We do not perform in-person inspections. We will not tell you whether the specific RV in front of you is defect-free — only an in-person inspection by a qualified inspector can do that.

What we offer is the pattern-matching of four RVs and 135+ defects: the questions to ask, the things to look for, the brands and models we'd think twice about, and the decision-framework that would have saved us a lot of pain.

Frequently asked

Do you take referral fees from dealers or manufacturers?

No. Ever. The point of the call is honest guidance — that's worthless if we're getting paid by the people we're advising you about.

What if I've already bought?

We can still help you navigate warranty claims, but the highest-value calls are pre-purchase. Email us if you want post-purchase guidance and we'll let you know if we think we can help.

Can you recommend specific brands or models?

We can tell you what we'd be cautious about and the patterns we've seen. We're hesitant to actively recommend specific products — we don't want to be the people who told someone to buy a specific RV that then turned into a lemon. We're better at saying "watch out for X" than "buy Y."
